A Bit About Me
My name is Skip
I've worked at several Pharma companies over the past 30 years and have gained a lot of experience that I can share with you.
The areas of Real World Evidence (RWE) and Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) are tricky to perform given all the technical issues involved. Not only can I help with those, but, in addition, I've developed expertise in quantifying their value to help align internal partners around external stakeholder needs. And, did I mention Implementation Science? It's an interesting area that's not to be missed.
You might be wondering how I got the nickname, Skip. I grew up in a fishing town outside of Boston (Gloucester to be exact) where the name "Skipper", i.e. captain of a boat, or shortened "Skip" were common nicknames. Mine was given to me practically at birth and has stuck.
After getting my doctorate (ScD) in biostatistics at Harvard, I moved to Switzerland to begin my career in the Pharma industry and I've (mostly) been here since. I speak German and am a Swiss citizen. I live outside Basel with my wife and our two cats.
